Mark your calendar for a lunch meeting at Wyoming Valley Country Club on October 23, 2008 at 12:00 noon.

Our guest speaker is me.  The topic is Java Server Faces.  This is a technology that I was researching for Rapid Application Development for web programming.  Anyone who has done a significant web project with a team knows how difficult this endeavor can be to develop and maintain.  Besides as good IBM customers most of us need an understanding of this approach.  This is presentation is an introduction and we will provide references and some practical experience with getting started.

We also have election of officers.  Please bring your nominations for President, VP, Treasurer and Secretary.

You may let me know of any nominations or volunteers.

Anyone who knows of a speaker or would be willing to speak on a topic for future meetings please let me know.

A good friend of mine has a son who is looking for an entry level position in IT.  The young man has gone to school for IT and is looking for a start.  I would be glad to forward you this person’s resume.
